Problem with new RedHat Web Server Running Apache

Hi I am new to the Forum group so I am sorry I searched for a thread already covering this but could not find one .
I set up my first Redhat 7 server with Apache PHP and Mariadb . I have also install phpmyadmin.

I created a file phpinfo.php file and placed it in the folder /var/www/html/

and i can see the file and that lets me know that PHP is working ok.
I then went in the phpmyadmin to set up a database and imported a sql file from a Drupal website that i am creating. I then set the settings.php to connect to the database.
The problem I am getting is that I can see the phpinfo.php file find , I can put a index.html file and see it but when i try to see the Drupal install I get a server 500 error.
any help would be most appreciated
DaveW
