Ipowerweb are TERRIBLE

Web Host Review: www.ipowerweb.com

My website: www.donkey.co.il
Since: n/a

Beware of ipowerweb

Their billing team made a mistake and thought that I did not pay. Without sending me a notice they deleted my server files and gave the server to someone else.

I did not make a backup for the site for a long time and everything is lost. They do not answer my letters now for about a week, and they do not refund the money I paid them already.

They are TERRIBLE!!!

You get what you pay for. If you see their affiliate program, they make almost nothing on each website. $95.40-$65 is what they would make on a website that someone referred to them.

Corey,

Have you tried calling them? I use iPowerWeb and have not have had any problems.

Myself no. But my associates have tried to call them a few times & nothing was never resolved. One of them actually called me the other day to help him out because they moved him to a new server & did not tell him that he needed to re-publish his website. He is waiting until March to cancel his contract with them

Talk to one of their live help associates, it is a real kicker.

I had similar issues - I gave notice that I was moving to another server - paid my last month the same day (I paid a month in advance) and was locked out the next morning.
I lost one domain completely cause they also had the domain name and I couldn't renew it and lost six clients over the three days downtime until I could get the sites back online.

My biggest piece of advice whether you're a reseller or a webmaster of any kind is to KEEP backups - every week if possible - I know its a pain in the ***, but its better than losing EVERYTHING.
