Private MessagesThis is getting annoying that I do not get a popup when someone sends me a message.. Is tehre a way to turn this on?

On this page: http://www.gidforums.com/profile.php?do=editoptions , under Messaging & Notification look for the setting for Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up?. Is the checkbox left unchecked?

It was set to No. It seems to be the default for when I signed up. I suggest you change it if its the default, most boards have them set to yes. But it is soooo annoying to not get a popup PM. Eh
|

Interesting angle Rob, it didn't cross my mind to think that more and more people will be using browsers that will kill pop-ups by default.
Anyway, Bobby, most people dislike pop-ups (including me), so I left the default at 'No'. If many others complain I would certainly reset the default setting to 'Yes'. __________________
