Hello, this is my first post and I would really appreciate your help.

I have recently finished my webpage and instead of using my long isp address, i got a free cjb address.
My problem is though that the favourites icon doesn't appear next to the bookmark when the page with the cjb address is bookmarked, but it does work with my isp address.

Many free resources like cjb lack certain things like that.

Actually... if you can upload your icon, favicon.ico to be at http://houlty.cjb.net/favicon.ico then it will work - but I am guessing you can't upload anything to this domain / subdomain and it's just a simple re-direct, yes?

Can't you just have something like
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="images/favicon.ico"> in your headers?

That way, your cjb page will display it... hopefully. I think it checks if your favicon is on the specific domain. Also, check to see if it appears(in your favorites) when you bookmark your site.

thanks everyone for all your help, but no i can't upload to the cjb address, it just acts as some sort of frame???.
Also to bobbydouglas, i think what you meant is change the "href=" to homepages.tesco.net if not please point me in the right direction, but I did this and still no luck.
Its not a massive dissapointment that the icon doesn't work but it would of been nice and would just complete my page.

Sorry, it won't work on the cjb site. However, it does work on your http://homepages.tesco.net/~hoults/Index.htm site.

There are some places who will give you free hosting if you buy a $25 domain name through them. You can also get cheap hosting for $4.95 some places. You might want to look into that.
