Hi Socrates welcome to the forum, I've seen you've made some good posts already and I'll help you out with that soon.
You seem to have forgotten the address the address in your profile leads to a 403. Rob |

That is a lot of javascript you have there. Its very nice and easy to navigate and you've got the search engine friendly links at the bottom, but I did spot a couple of things. I did a quick batch job in Fireworks to see what the file sizes would be like in PNG without even trying PNGcrush and it turned out that you can save quite a bit of space (24.6kb compared to 35.4kb on a comparison of gif's to png's). I've attached it in a zip so that you can have a look.
Another thing I noticed, was the appearance on loadup, which frankly looks a bit nasty. The order of loadup makes it so that the yellow buttons appear before the background and they look kind of unrefined. Maybe it would be better if the green background appeared first and then the buttons after. It does look good when its loaded up though. Another thing that you may not have thought about is the actual file names, these can be used to your advantage as keywords for people to find the site. At the moment you have aops.gif that means nothing when you could have areas-of-practice.gif. The same goes for the page name, which is just practice.htm that again could be expanded to areas-of-practice.htm . Ahh another thing I just spotted is the links in the areas of practice. It isn't really evident that they are links is it? This may be of use to you to make it more understandable http://www.desilva.biz/css/csscursor.html Rob |

You've got to be careful about IE only code as it doesn't follow the W3C standards and so won't render correctly in any Gecko based browser.
Another thing is that the search engines will see absolutely none of the content that pops up, but if that is not your concern, then it isn't a problem. Glad you got the pointer sorted though. Rob |
