web server sizing using benchmark

hello sir,
i am a final year student doing project on web server sizing benchmark...
i have attached my proj ppt,plz go through it.
i've plannned to do it in linux platform, using mysql database,
using some load generator i am putting some kind of load to web server..
when its been loading , we have to capture the cpu, memory utilization in a
log file and then consequently to mysql database ...
we have to iterate above procedure many times for diff no.. of users
this is what benchmarking....
and also in database we've to store response time, concurrency,of webserver.
then customer will give the requirements like no.. of users ,cpu utilization
then i've to create one c++ pgm that takes this parameter and will compare
with the benchmark database to give the optimal configuration.....

Inthis project ,
one table is having attributes...
cpuutilzation,memoryutilization,timestamp.
another table is having..
transaction,elapsetime,bytetrans,responsetim,throu ghput,concurrency,user,timestamp.

i need to compare the values(i.e cpuutilization, responsetime, throughput, numberofuse r) is given to c or c++ module that should connect to the database.. it should compare with the above two tables to give the optimal output..inthe sense.. i need greater cpuutilization, responsetime, concurrency, throughput ..all should greater than or equal to the values given inthe input given to c module...
plz help me out...

thanking you,,,,
