Displaying Code Using Notepad

I noticed on the GIDZipTest Page the code appears in a nice table with a different colored background. I tried to put the same thing on my site and notice how it miserably fails on my dark background.

So, I decided to make a nice notepad image.

Here is an example of it:

A download is attached to this post containing the 6 files.

http://www.mrbobdouglas.com/dev/php_compress.php is an example of where I used it for my site.

You can change the title of the Notepad document as well as the height. Also, all you have to change is the text and the table will work with it to produce the height.

What cha think of it?

JdS will become famous soon enough
I was actually wondering for a LONG time what you meant by different coloured backgrounds...

The way to get that easily is by using PHP's highlight_string() function and a little bit of imagination.

There are multiple posts on it here at GIDForums™ - but here's one that was discussed just recently: http://www.desilva.biz/forum/viewtopic931.php
