Reverse DNS entriesFor the first time since I have had a web site and a dedicated IP, I am unable to set Reverse DNS entries for my IPs.
http://www.***.com/tools/ptr.ch?ip=65.19.134.167 http://www.***.com/tools/ptr.ch?ip=216.218.213.199 http://www.***.com/tools/ptr.ch?ip=216.218.213.200 http://www.***.com/tools/ptr.ch?ip=216.218.213.201 Previously, all I had to do is make a request for these to be set up and my web hosts got it done within minutes. Now, with my new host, for the second time, it's apparently something complicated which cannot be done unless I pay extra for a "whole block of IPs" -- whatever that means! What can I do? It has been over a week since my request was made and I hope someone here has a suggestion for me. Why do we need to set Reverse DNS Entries for IPs? Here's a good explanation from dnsstuff.com Quote:

Re: Reverse DNS entriesHi, the owner of the IP range (i.e. your web host) is the only one who can set up reverse DNS to point your IP addresses to your hostname.... If they tell you its "difficult" or that you need to pay extra for this, I would suggest you switch to another provider who will accomodate you.
