Okay, well I'm just starting to use Apache (damn IIS doesn't really work that well anymore ), and I just have one question.

I have my root set up as D:/Web Server, and I have an index.html in there. Now, I want to link to another folder on my computer (D:/My Documents/My Music) in the html file, but I have no clue what I need to do. I'd imagine I have to configure something in the httpd.conf file, but I've tried reading and understanding it, and well.. no luck

So any help is appreciated

If you want to show the music folder on the web page, why don't you just make a link to it on the page? Something like

Or are you trying to make an alias that links to your music folder but resides in the Apache directory?
