Friends, I am a member of Yahoo Groups OpenCV. Google groups is also having a same name OpenCV.

My question is that whenever some mails are posted on the Yahoo Groups, they appear in the Google Groups too!!

How can this happen?
This happens almost instantly, so i dont think there is any human activity involved.

Does Google Groups copies the contents from the Yahoo Groups?

AFAIK, Google Groups is Google's cache of newsgroup postings. If something is posted to Yahoo groups, then it probably gets put out on the NNTP servers so it would show up in Google Groups as soon as it's posted to the Usenet. Just a guess.
