Console Based Menu

I need a way to use the arrow keys to select an option from a menu using a console. Something such like a search form, but in a console and you have to be able to use the arrow keys to move between options. Any help would be greatly appretiated. Thanks.

Re: Console Based Menu

Answer is totally different from O/S to O/S and compiler to compiler. Some compilers won't even let you do it.

So, after you read the Guidelines, post again here with the info we need (mainly compiler and O/S)

Not a clue. Maybe someone else knows that system.

Re: Console Based Menu

You can use the ncurses library to get the arrow key input.
Take a look here for detailed documentation:
Ncurses Programming Guide

Best Regards,
Paramesh.
