Install prob. with MS Visual C++ 2003 on XP.

Hello Members,

I just purchased Microsoft Visual C++ .net Standard 2003.
I insert disc one and I receive a prompt to upgrade to Windows 2000 SP4, huh I have XP. As silly as it sounds I actually tried to upgrade with the supplied disc (Windows 2000 Service Pack 4) obviously I received an error this SP4is not compatible with your version of Windows.
I am not able to proceed any further so I can not install MS Visual C++ .net 2003. Has anybody encountered this please help.

Thank You
Pietro Gallo
