Web templates in PhotoshopI need help with templated in photoshop. I understand the basics of slicing an image of a webpage that you made, but what I dont get is the html part of it actually. Slicing produces tables and thats not very handy. How do you make web templates in Photoshop?

Re: Web templates in PhotoshopSimplest way is to just paste the image into a web page and then write your code on top of it, e.g. use it as a background image.
As long as you know the locations of "landmarks" of your image, you can put your HTML in the right location. If that doesn't make sense, let me know. __________________

Re: Web templates in PhotoshopBy web templates, I assume you mean slicing an image for use on the web?
This is done in Adobe Image ready... To slice an image do the following: 1. Open the image in photoshop. 2. Click at the bottom of the toolbar to jump to image ready. (At the bottom of the toolbar where there is an icon with two pages and an arrow going from one page to the other.) 3. Once image ready has opened select the slice tool and slice the image as required. 4. Select File >> Save optemized as.. 5. Make sure image and HTML is selected in the 'save as type' field. 6. Choose a name for your page and hit save. VIOLA 1 x web template |
