Ok I have to say that I cliccked (curiosity) the ads on my own website once on 2 times per day per ads.

They are not my own ads but ads displayed on my website,.
My PC when every day restart it change the IP.

It is dangerous click few times per day the ads?

Ok thanks... I will stop ... and anyway few of my clicks do not make the difference.

I think that they will "punish" you if they see thousands of click from the same IP ... same day.... is not real....

Or....

You could follow along with this article.

There are two other articles related to this. The additional links are at the end of the article. It seems JdS wrote this for the same reasons you are asking, so he could click on ads that were of interest and not be charged with self-clicks.

By this do you mean they don't have your pub-id? If that is the case I don't think there is any problem. Essentially what the linked article does, is shows how to sets the ad code to test mode (ca-test) when you (based on a cookie) are viewing the page. Everyone else will be fed a "real" ad with your pub-id etc.

Re: Ads - - - what if I click on my website??

It is best not to click on your own ads as it is against Adsense TOS and is not fare on any advertisers that pays for these ads. Some advertisers bid over $10 per click and don't really want to pay it so that they can waste it on people just clicking on the ads to get some quick bucks.

But, if you are interested in the ads like you say then that is a little differnet when it concerns the advertiser, but it is definately still against adsense's TOS.

Well maybe it's not fair that the websites will be paying coz we clicked to get money but I think that those who advertise website targeted are companies that are very profitable and I don't think $10 is a big loss to them

I think $10 is alot of money even to a very profitable company if people just click on the ads so that they can get the money and are not actually interested in the products that they offer.

It doesn't matter if you are a smaller or large company, you expect to see some results from your advertising.

why must you guys resort to clicking on your own ads? do you know that it cost advertisers in wasted traffic? i'm an adwords advertiser, so it pains me to know that you guys are stealing money in effect.

Re: Ads - - - what if I click on my website??

Well there is one reason for that. This is because people who click on there own ads don't have the advertisers in their mind. They just wantto try and earn some quick money. People who click on their own ads should know better.

I have seen people on the Web click on their own ads and when it comes to them advertising their site and getting no good traffic they then moan.

I just don't get why they would want to do this. Because of this fraud ppc search engines including Adsense have to put so much security software in place and be so strict that even honest people are getting banned now and this is only because poeple clicking on their own ads or using clicking exchanges have made this happen.

I am also an advertiser on ppc search engines and I know how you feel about getting cheated out of your money.

People who click on their own ads only end up getting caught and then loose all of their money that they had earn't so why do it in the first place as you will lose you source of income.
