Question about MFC activeX control

Quote:
Using VC++ standard edition, you could create activeX control, such as MFC activeX control, but when you use it in a web application, be aware of the MFC activeX control limitation while used on non-MFC thread.

What limitation are there when you use a MFC activex control on a non-MFC thread?

I'm not at all use to C++ programming but need it to help me with a project, so what is a non-MFC thread.

Thanks for any help.
