New wi-fi standard approved - here comes 24-54MbpsNot sure if anyone is interested in knowing about wi-fi, but the new standard 802.11g will be backwards compatible with 802.11b .

I'm hoping that sometime soon I'll be able to go to the new 802.11g. I've been waiting for this I've seen the new hardware and I'm hoping that this will help with my home networking projects. All those wires are starting to get ugly
