How to dominate Internet Explorer 6?Hello.
I am Windows XP SP2, Internet Explorer 6. How can I temporary disable support for JAVA and Flash only, in Internet Explorer? In Opera for example you can easily do that by click on a button. Thank you. |

Re: How to dominate Internet Explorer 6?If you insist on using IE, then AFAIK you have to go into Internet Options and manually deselect Java and Flash from the huge list. I can't tell you exactly where it is because I don't use IE. I know there's a checkmark for Java but I'm not sure about Flash. You may have to look in either the Security settings (where you have a slider for Internet) or the configuration tab at the end.
Sorry I can't be more specific. __________________

Re: How to dominate Internet Explorer 6?Adding the domain(s) in question to the 'Restricted sites' zone will accomplish what you want. You can wildcard subdomains (e.g., *.somedomain.com).
