This is happening to my PC also (only on rebooting right ?) .... I have checked the fans etc. I am interested to know what you had to do regarding the problem with the power pin to the motherboard ? Thanks Warren |

Re: CPU was shutdown due to a thermal event(Overheating)Check your CPU's heat sink. It may have loosened so your not getting proper cooling. You might also want to put new thermal paste or a pad on your CPU to make sure it has good contact.
Some systems let you monitor you temps either in BIOS or through a program. If you have something like this, take a look at your system temps. |
