If you install one program in Windows 98, you cant access that program through windows XP and vice versa. It applies to any OS. In windows, some of the important configuration and accessibility are stored in the registry, and you cant access windows 98 registry in windows xp. Regards,  Paramesh. __________________

Re: accessing yahoo messengerYou should instal Yahoo Messenger separately for WinXP, and don't act mad like me and make the 2 installations share their destination directories (like I did for my anti virus and ended up having to re-installing both Win98 & WinXP
 ) just to save hard drive space. |
