Fast Crawler going nuts

I don't know if this is exciting for anyone else, but a bit ago I got hit no less than 154 times by the fast crawler.

Is this the new deep crawl we've been looking for

Yes, but they also provide for Lycos and Hotbot now that they own bits of Altavista too maybe we will see bits coming there.

FAST Search

I am ALMOST certain that they've already been to your website at least once before, they're pretty 'FAST' indexing a site all on their own - so you might just have missed them in your logs.

That was the good news, the bad news is that you would probably get very little or no hits off them - atleast from what I have experienced so far.

Ironically, Alltheweb has the most pages indexed off this website, yet sends the least traffic to-date!

Alltheweb is just a testbed for fast. Its been to my site many a time I just have never been crawled so significantly and I wondered if it meant anything.

Honestly, I have never heard of this... where can I get more information? As far as I can remember, it has always been around - even from my days on Tripod so it can hardly be called a test-bed anymore?
