how toi dont no if this is possible but i have a site (techngear.com) and i want to create a blog on the index page. i want to write about all the latest and greatest technology. I cant seem to figuare out how to have it run in my site template, and i cant find a place to do it. I no like blogger.com you can upload your files to an ftp but i dont really want the whole comment thing ect. I dont want to install wordpress because its too much work to customize it. So does anyone no of a way to do this, i see tons of sites all the time with blogs themselves not hosted elsewhere that are doing the same thing im trying to accomplish.
thanks for the help |

Re: how toYou will have to install some sort of blogging software if you wish to add/modify content on the fly. If you don't want to manage comments and are just want to appear "blog like" without the specialized software, you can always keep the site static by adding the content offline and uploading it to your site.

Re: how tohttp://b2evolution.net <- I used this software successfully - not too many templates available but if your fitting it into your site design doesn't really matter.

Re: how toI personally use one called BBlogger... try googling for it. You may have to look abit. It is fairly easy to customize, and there are already a good deal many templates around if you know where to look (I may add some links later).
Hope this helps! |
