Host for personal web page?

Hay all, iv got a pretty static HTML website, iv made it all with HTML and JavaScript and all the .HTML files and graphics are all in one folder. Anyone know a good free web host that I will be able to transfer all my stuff to. Thanks for any help at all people!

This very website was born on Tripod, so it is a place I remember fondly. However, now, Tripod has turned into pop-up-hell.

Otherwise, take your pick.

I used to be a big fan of tripod.co.uk, but not anymore. Their framed google-adwords banner is horrendous. If you have a small static site, Geocities doesn't look that bad anymore.

the annoying thing is, its not fancy, but its big, iv got 352 files that make it up: its gonna be hell uploading one by one

352 image files or 352 html files?

Uploading files can also happen with a simple FTP client program / or even Microsoft FrontPage if you have it.

All you have to do is find out if your free web host allows you to upload via FTP. There are a few of them... so this helps you narrow down your search for a free web host Only look for ones that allow FTP uploads...

If yes, all you do is click a button and all the files in your set up folder will be uploaded to your host.

Thanks Jds I didn't relise it was so easy to set up, cheers!

And I had no idea that front page works as a ftp.
