articles -> outputI took a look at the /array article today, don't know why but I did.
there are some nice examples. but no output. Newbies won't be able to see whats in an array, when they don't know what the output will be. I suggest you to put a print_r(); output for the arrays.. the php function you posted today (limit words) has the same problem. you put an 'how to use' in there, but no output. I had to lookup the preg_split function since i've never used it before. then I knew what the function does. (btw, you are looking for a space, wont split(" ", $str); work?) |

I see your point about outputting the array. I will review these articles over the weekend.
re: wont split(" ", $str); work? I had thought of that and also str_word_count() before. Think about this string: "the goat.\r\n\r\nWell, whatever" 'goat.\r\n\r\nWell,' would be one word if the function just looks for ' '. __________________
