Help required to choose compiler


Hello friends,
I want to know which is the best c/c++ compiler for windows?
what do companies use for their production?
which language do companies use? C or c++?
please help me in choosing the best language and compiler for a job opportunity..

That's like asking which paper towel is the best... It depends on too many questions:
What O/S?
What are you familiar with?
Where are you going to work?
In other words, best cannot be decided. If a compiler work in Windows without problems, it's a good one.

Basically, this question cannot be answered -- it's too subjective. There's rarely a best...
