Reading Excel Sheets on Unix PlatformHello everyone,
I'm new to this group and am posting a request for the 1st time. Hope the gurus here will help me out. I need to read/write excel sheets on Unix platform. Is there a way to do this using C++? Specially that a Unix box cannot support the ODBC connection object. Kindly help me. |

Re: Reading Excel Sheets on Unix PlatformAre you looking for something that already does this (an application) or do you need to write a program that does this?

Re: Reading Excel Sheets on Unix PlatformHi,
Thnx for replying. I know that there are applications that already do this. But i need to write a program to do this myself. All i have is an excel sheet lying on a unix server....I have to use shell scripts and C++ to read the file or to convert into a CSV file. Rgrds. |
