Q1 i want to design a forum which can let ppl post msg on it.
however, i don have any idea and knowledge on it. so is
possible to get the code here? if possible i hope can get the code with comment coz i wanna learn it too.

Q2 where can i get free mysql? because the Mysql file i have
contained winMysqladmin, so when i open phpadmin then it
got crashing between them. phpadmin can only open for one
time then the seconf time cant use already.

Eventhough I am fairly comfortable with PHP and MySQL, writing a forum script is not something I'd want to do this year or the next. What I mean by this is that writing a forum script is a LOT of work and you need to know a lot about PHP and MySQL especially!

If you have problems getting phpmyadmin to work, trust me, writing or designing a forum is definitely not something you'd want to do.

Besides, there are so many forum scripts that do the job well and are free to use e.g. :

I don't understand your second question. MySQL is free to use, phpmyadmin and winmysqladmin are just 'programs' to help you manage the MySQL database and tables.

what i mean is using phpadmin must have mysql right, because i get the mysql file from a cd. the cd is from book where i buy it. then i install the mysql and it looks like already contained winmysqladmin. but when i use phpadmin which i installed later it only can run one time. the seconf i used it generate a error msg for me which i ask u before. that is the problem.

about the forum, i have to do it because it inside my final year project. actually the forum i wan is only use for post message and reply message that's all. thanks anyway..
