Greetings board members. Lots of good info here to read.

I was wondering why I can not send pm's, or download attachments. I activated my account and have been reading for a few months now. Is there a post count rule or something. I read the rules, and didn't see anything of the sort.

what i get is:

atroph, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

You need 5 posts before you can PM (I think that is the number). You can read up on it in the FAQ here. As you said, there is lots of good info, add to it and you will be able to send/receive messages.
