This is good ... or not?

There's a contest running on some site to create a fan website and it's open til the end of the year (12/31) ... They offer a 5000€ prize for an (at least) 10 pages website. That's lot of work, do you think this is worth it?
Please tell me what you think www.tagheuer.com

It looks to me like a great way for the company to get a free website and free information on how to promote it. Yes, you get a watch, but that's not much of an expense for a watch company. After you spend the time developing such an extensive site
  • there are no guarantees you'll get paid
  • your family cannot utilize the winnings
Creating websites is a business. At least at the level of development they want. Get paid for the work.

But on the other hand, if you know what you're doing, don't have anything else to do, and want an expensive watch, why not. I'm sure no professionals will be entering the contest...
