There's been loads of arguments throughout the internet about whether Freshbot is actually doing a lot of the job that deepbot used to do. A lot have seen "freshie" go deeper than it has ever done before. I'm currently seeing a lot of hits from freshbot, but I'm not in an experienced enough position to decide whether this is in any way abnormal.

I have a fishy feeling that with the advent of grub and uprising of alltheweb, Google has decided it should get there first by being the most up to date search engine. Whether this means eliminating the customary monthly update that we used to enjoy, it may become synomonous and therefore be much more difficult to work out.
