Do you know what it plugs into? It looks like some sort of modular drive adapter, e.g. if you wanted to take out a HD and put in a CD-ROM.

Thanks for the reply ! it goes behind a notebook cd rom & converts what appears to be a standard socket in the back of the cd rom into the notebook specific connector. I have since looked at other notebook modules & the smaller of the 2 connectors seems to be the same on all note book drives. |
