c++ source code to make a program that asks a username and password..

Can anyone pls show me an example c++ source code that asks a username and password from the user... The password should be shown as '*' and not as the one that you typed.. Ex: an '*' should be shown if you pressed 'f' but the value should not change it will still be 'f' but will be shown as '*'..... I hope someone can help me with this....

Before we can help you, you need to write a program and test it yourself. While people here are willing to help, that's all that they are willing to do- help. I can start you out here; the rest is up to you. Good luck!

Also, many compilers can't handle this type of input. Standard C/C++ has no provisions for direct input like this. We'd have to know which compiler you are using, and probably the OS you are running.
