Un-formating a win98 HD

Hey people I have a old Win98 harddrive and was wondering how to reformatt it I only have a Win98SE disk, is it possible to reformat it in MS-DOS mode?
If so how would I go about doing this?
I want to unformat it and make it a slave drive to another computer, How would I do this?

You dont need to unformat the drive and you really cant unformat a drive. If u want to use it as a alave drive, then change jumper settings according to the manual. ;-)

umm problem

I don't have a manual and I am a very big novice when it comes to messing with hardware - give me some sowftware and I can figure it out real quick.
But where would the settings be for that?

Zorachus will become famous soon enough
By changing jumpers, he means actually changing a series of pins (usually eight) on the hard drive itself. If you don't have a manual, try googling the make and model of your drive.
Good luck!

Nevermind I got my neighbor to wipe the drive for me - He's some big shot CEO or something like that - anyway thanks for the assistance.
