A good c++ compiler/program


Hey guys, can u plz. tell me a very good c++ builder/compiler/program, coz i always have problems with borland and dev++.

i have Visual Studio.NET, and i LOVE it, i think its well worth the money you spend (unless your friend alrady has it: )

If you're having problems maybe you need to learn more about the compilers or ask a few questions. You are using two of the best.

actually i had turbo c++ 4.5 n i used to do my work on it then one day from school i sent an email (with all the programs which i did in my school )to my house n wen i saved it in my folder of other programs the compiler i donno somethin happened to it so trid it on borland c++ n it didnt work n tried it on few others it doesnt work so idonno wat to do?

In the tutorial section, there are instructions for downloading and installing Borland 5.5 command line compiler. Try that. I had it up in less than 10 minutes.

You might also try explaining why they didn't work at home, like what happened when you compiled. It may be something small you overlooked.

Visual studios 6 for me in my opinion, dont really like the large file size of .net, or simply get Visual C++

i checked everythin n found out that in my comp all the DOS based programs dont work

Sounds like you have a Linux system. DOS programs run great under Windows.
