Windows XP auto restarts upon running games

Does anyone know why my computer auto restarts itself everytime i run a game ? i tried running warcraft3. It auto restarts the moment i launch it.

i tried launching lineage 2 as well, and poof! it auto restarts itself.. kind of worried that if i keep on doing that, my computer would really be screwed up

After restart, windows would happily tell me that it has recovered from a serious recovery message thing.

any solutions ? Normally such cases are really hard to troubleshoot i think. sigh sigh... Computers are so unpredictable.

XP will restart itself as a result of a System Failure instead of giving you the BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) alot of times. You should turn the auto-restart feature off to see if it gives you an actual error.
To do this:
Go to Properties of "My Computer"
Go to the "Advanced" tab
Select the "Settings" button on Startup and Recovery
and Uncheck "Automatically Restart"

Also...What kind of errors do you get in the Event Viewer?
