css noncompliant

I already have an existing website, however I'm experiencing problems. The website navigation is misplaced when viewed in IE (The website is correctly viewed in Firefox) Another problem is that my portfolio page is neither html/css compliant in both firefox and IE. The link is: www.rit.edu Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

In your CSS file you have:
CSS Code:
#nav a {
	font: 14px Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
	text-align: center;
	text-decoration: none;
	color: #000099;
	width:320px;
	}

It's the width attribute that's messing it up.

Also, the #8195 chracter is displaying a box in IE. You probably want to stick with nbsp since 8195 is not guaranteed to be defined.
