The top 100 sites of 2003 and the top 100 classics

This came out a couple months back, but I thought it might be worth posting to see if there are any sites that you have missed. You probably won't have seen a lot of the unique sites, but a lot of them are worth checking out.

I think the world of dancing cats is too much for me though!

I totally lost every inch of respect for the hotmail team after they changed the log in page to
Quote:
A New Look for Hotmail!

To improve the Hotmail sign-in experience, we have updated this page with a new design.

It might have been Garth that mentioned this (or someone totally different for that matter), but how on earth does that improve my sign in experience. Not only does it not remember who I am most of the time, I also have to type in the whole address. The quick login disappeared from msn.co.uk as well. Totally and utterly bonkers!

p.s. Maybe your site for 2004 eh?

I just checked, you're absolutely right; it's doesn't remember me now and I have like 4 emails with them.

I don't have the convenient 'drop down' now... Yucks!

Yeah, hotmails new login sucks!

There's loads of spam-like ads, for things like dating services & crap like that. When all you want to do is get your email!

Microsoft Director: Bill we've got to do something, everyone's
coming to hotmail and all they are doing is
checking their mail and that's it.

Bill: Hmm, maybe if we screw up the login procedure, they'll look
at the adverts for 33% longer and my *ahem* our account
will grow fatter by the minute

MD: Hey Bill that's why your the boss

Bill: I know, now stop gawping and go screw up some Apache
servers
