It has been a while David... (it is David, isn't it?).
 "Must sees"? That depends... will you be travelling alone? With a hot partner? With wife and kids? With parents? Just the guys? A "firefly tour" is definitely not a suggestion I would put at the top of my list  __________________

ooh, malaysia. i go to genting highland mostly, but for:
KL -> china town!!! , berjaya times square, petronas tower Penang -> can't really rmb whats there already =X __________________

David it is
 I will be travelling with my hot partner who happens to love shopping so I guess we will be doing alot of that in KL.what's wrong with the firefly tour? any nice tours you would recommed for KL? we are only there for approx 2 and half days, so we won't be doing too much, but would probably like to do a night tour and a half day tour. we will be in penang a bit longer though (7 days) I can't wait  |

For me i think firefly tour is rather boring... But the fun thing is that your guide would prob catch a few fly to fill up in a bottle(with holes) for you. haha.
not forgetting loads of mosquitos.. __________________

Hot partner... woohoo... the ONLY way to travel!
Sorry about the delay in getting back to you.. If you want, I will make a few phone calls and find out what's available (re: KL tours). I'll post again with details asap. Are you in a rush? Why Penang? For the beaches? My ideal holiday is by the beach, and the best ones in Malaysia are in the East Coast. I keep my favourite place a secret (I won't talk about it here) because I don't want it filled with tourists. It's almost deserted, just the way I like my holidays by the beach. There was that one special time, where we were the only other 2 tourist on this beautiful island! Penang, meanwhile, is in the West Coast of Malaysia -- where the waters are generally less inviting. alcedo is right... the mosquitoes here are a menace like any other tropical destination, so stock up on some mosquito repellant, patches, the works! You can also find repellants here of course. I must admit, I have never been on a firefly tour myself but having grown up in a tropical country filled with all kinds of insects, you'll excuse me for not getting excited. __________________
