Allowee has a spectacular aura about

Date for in an e-mail

LOL,
i just found it

date('r');

ignore my question...

while setting up my SMTP class I found ou that I need to give a 'Date:' with the headers.

I'm looking for something that will produce something like this
Sat, 17 May 2003 16:09:33 +0200

I'm able to find the first parts myself.
but I'm having problems with the +0200

if there is a good SMTP class somewhere please share the url with me.

this is all for PMS

there are hosts that don't allow the use of PHP's mail() function.
or, just like my host, there are 2 servers. and e-mail is on the other server and PHP just don't want to mail, or the mail server doesn't allow it. relaying is allowed. but it just won't work.

this class just opens a socket to the mailserver and does the same as mail()
