On Laptop Fujitsu Siemens (I worked before on laptop so it's fine-Demo and full game)

AMD Sempron 2Ghz 512 RaM- Sis m70 128mb GPU- Real Ace 97' Sound Card.
Windows 98 have enough memory as you described. As I said previously the pirated game worked by downloading a fix file .exe in Windows 98. Let's say that i buy the original one. WHERE TO BUY IT FROM that they will ship it where I live (Greece). Here I can't find it any more cause it's too old to sell it in an original form. Nonetheless I downloaded the torrent file of this game (also pirated, ovbiously) and also nothing happend. I don't beleive it's the pirated version I think there is something else I must do to make it work. I went through several fixes and ideas but none succeed. I know that you might not have something else to add but the trully original idea would be appreciated for this classic rpg. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

like i said i never had a problem playing any old game on virtual pc. the only thing i can suggest is going through the device manager and looking for update drivers. im sorry i cant be of mroe help. merry xmas =D. as a safety check do you have an old pc you can run 98 on and install it there? or alternativly do you have a second hard drive you can put 98 on or a partition for a duel boot ?
since its a lap top i doubt it will have 2 hard disks however if its partitioned you should be able to install 98 on the partition xp isnt on. if you dont have a partition you can make one, but you would loose everything on the hard drive and have re-install xp and 98 which seems like alot of effort one game.

Ok I found "the" solution. A revolutionary one. For those that are furstrated and for those who have posted their problems all over the intrenet about this game please listen!!!

You can play the game Silver by Infogrames in WINDOWS XP AT LAST. no virtual pc's no windows 98 whatsoever.

Download one of these files according to your version. But you can download both files either for US or UK/International in case you might not know the version of your cd. Then paste it to your existing executable file and PLAY IN WIN XP with no problems in graphics , sound, WHATSOEVER.

Now I have problems with the trainer I downoaded.

It's not working. I use the one that Miramax launched. I used another one but nothing happend. In the first trainer a message appears "Try to brinh the inventory up in the game" and so I did. I think I did. It must be the small menu that appears in circle and shows David's weapons-magic-health-food etc etc.

I don't know of any oother inventory in the game, and this message appears no matter how OPEN and UP this inventory is. ANY HELP ? ANY SUGGESTIONS ?

simple open the small circle then click on the paper and quill icon that open the full inventory =)
but if thats not working its probably because it cant recognise the version of the game and so doesnt know its running. look at it this way now you will have to complete without cheats =)

I'm am having a problem with Silver.

I already installed the patch and this fixed my first problem. But when a started the game everything seemed okay untill I heard the menu sound

The sound is all choppy and sounds like a machine gun It also occurs when playing the game. Music speech and effects all sound very choppy and looks like it is lagging but the game is going on as it is supposed to be

Please help me out!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, but where are the patches? That crazymoocow.net link doesn't seem to be for the game. Fileplanet and Filefront both come up empty when it comes to looking for patches.

I have exactly the same problem as skitterpop, can anybody send me a save file just after the gate in rain (iamduffman77@hotmail.com). Im 99% sure im ringing the bell right, im thinking its just a glitch with the game or something?
