when i go to burn a music cd with the software that came with my burner-nero oem-it will sometimes fail-when i burn a music cd with windows media player, it never fails-is there a way to fix this or any burning software that u can recommend?

If it came w/ the system, then it probably needs to be updated. Get the latest patch from the Nero website and see if that fixes it.

i've allways had 2 minds about nero, previous poster is very right, get an update for nero, could also try updating the aspi, both neros and the adaptec ones if they aren't installed, theres a program called apsichk (i think) which checks if you have the adaptec apsi drivers installed, this might help. you can also try adjusting your settings in nero if neither of these solutions work.

as far as burning software goes nero is arguably one of if not the best, easy cd creator is also good for music cd's

yeah i have a suggestion go here www.oldversion.com and get Nero Burning ROM 5.5.10.42 (13.0 MB) version

anything above that version sucks and is a piece of crap. i am waiting on the 7.0 release in october to see how much better it is than any of the 6.0 versions.
