i'm a newbie to this site ... as a USER but i visit this site daily .. and i'm very much impressed by the "reviews and replies" by the members of this FORUM ...


Here is my problem ...

Today Google cancelled my adsense account ... mentioning that "It has come to our attention that invalid clicks have been generated on
the ads on your web pages" ... but i didn't clin on any ads displaying on my site .. moreover my daily cliks were not more than 50-60 .

Everything is fine according to me .. my Page impression my CTR each and everything ....

Now guess what ...

Even Google cancelled my account, but ads are still displaying on my site ... i don't understand is it somekind of silly mistake or something which i dunno ???

Any guesses ?

The best thing to do would be to write them an email, explaining your situation and asking them for more details as to why you were removed from the program.

This happens too often, and I feel sorry for those people who haven't done anything wrong. For example, what if a bad guy or a competitor runs an automatic hit system on your ads?
Cancelling acounts instead of ignoring invalid clicks seems unfair to me.

It seems unfair, but I guess we all have to just get on with it and look for an alternative when these things happen.

This is sad, I got my google acc disabled too, I think what they consider "invalid clicks" is when clicks on ur ads are more or less from same location. E.g if ur in UK and all clicks on ur ads are from UK google takes this to be invalid clicks.. well I suppose
or maybe google just disable accounts that are not very profitable (not much traffic to ur website).
There are alternatives like the prog from yahoo very similar to adsense but not ppl from all countries can sign up..

I don't think you are quite correct there as some peoples websites that has Adsense ads on them only cater for the UK and they only mainly have UK visitors.

Invalid clicks is when you click on the ads yourself, make others click on them by paying them are giving them an incentive for doing the clicks. Getting to many clicks from the same or maybe a similar IP address, etc.

I think google has to do something with that becouse a lot of people get banned from adsense for no reason. I am sure that google has the way to do that they just dont care becouse there is a lot of publishers.

wow 50-60 clicks a day how much were u making?

i think once they cancel ur account their ads stop showing within the next 24hrs or something

i dont understand why they just dont pay u if they think the clicks were invalid i dont think they should cancel your account, thats just silly because anyone could click ur ads a 100 times because they want to see u banned

I got that exact same email today... what can I do? As far as I know, there haven't been any invalid clicks. I've had adsense for a little over a week and my earnings were up to about $20 or so... the url is www.reconraiders.co.nr. The only thing I could possibly think of is that I logged into my account at my friends house, and also on public computers at school. Maybe they log the IP that I logged in from and somebody else on that computer clicked the ads.
