how to use my tld domain name on my web server?Hi,
I've recently installed a new web server tool called xampp made by some people called apachefriends.com (i think). the reason why i choose to use that is because it is easy to use and it is versatile. basically, i have a domain name called mp3host.info purchased from aplus.net what i want to do is, turn my pc into a web server, using the software "xampp" and use my tld domain name on it. how is this done? my idea was this. first signup for a no-ip.com account called mp3host.no-ip.com and then download the ip updating software and run it. after, put the address mp3host.no-ip.com as my nameserver in my domain control (cp.aplus.net) now my question is, will this work? i.e. when someone type www.mp3host.info, will the request will come to my home server and the visitor see the website? |
