calibration area full

first of all,hi everyone new guy here
having read through quite a few threads on the power calibration error theme,i was wondering if the above error message meant the same thing?

just last night i burned a dvd using dvdcreator and it worked fine, but today i tried to burn a cd compilation using nero 6,it got to 2% then the message 'calibration area full' came up.

i am by no means a computor whizz kid,i only know enough to get me by
so any replies of help would be greatly apprieciated if it was in easy to understand form.

many thanks in advance
