website mod_rewrite rule problemHi,
I am having trouble with my website using a rewrite rule. Everything works great except for one directory that wordpress' rewrite is overriding an existing rule created by my webhost. if you type in mydomain.com/page123 and page123 doesn't exist, my wordpress install will say it cannot be found, and that is the end of that. But my problem is, my host has analog stats for my domain set at mydomain.com/stats, and it is not an actual directory in my root folder (it appears to be a rewrite rule they made) now, since there is nothing there, wordpress' rewrite engine treats it like any other situation, but what I need to do it make it so the rewrite engine will ignore mydomain.com/stats so I can log into my analog stats index I have full permissions to the .htaccess file where these rules are written in. If someone would help me by telling my how to exclude this directory (mydomain.com/stats), that would be great. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks |
