Two formsHi,
I've got two forms that need to communicate with each other. The second form (Form2) is created when a button is pressed on the first form (Form1). What I then need to do - and what is causing problems - is when Form2 closes the data it is displaying needs to be sent to Form1. I've tried declaring an object of Form2 in form one and then call functions to do the processing. I think this works ok but I'm not sure. Initially I tried creating a class that sat in between the two forms and passed everything through that. This caused a lot of errors and I don't really understand why. A lot of my form components went missing and I got one hell of a lot of compile errors telling me components didn't belong to forms or they weren't there at all. Why did this occur just by declaring a intermediate class that pointed to two forms?????????? ![]() |
