Where did my description go?

My site www.freestylewebdesigns.com has a nice ranking with Google when you type in FreeStyle Web Designs and it DID have the description that I put with it. Now for the past week, the only thing that appears in my search results is the url with NO description. What does this mean? Why has my description disappeared and why isn't the title the url. Why is the exact url the url in the search results? What can I do to make my description reappear? Please help me fix this problem.

Well I'm not sure but I can say that you have added to many keywords to meta tags as well as to many different meta tags. All you need is

<TITLE></TITLE>
<META name="description" content="">
<META name="keywords" content"">
<META name="author" content="">

That's enough!

Best Regards
Dimitar

The description bit in a google SERP for a web page can be 1 of many things. It can be blank, the description exactly as the one in your meta tag, the description as defined by a DMOZ listing, it can also be snippets off your page content that matches the queried keyword(s), which is most often the case.

Sooo, it's completely random as far as I can tell.

When considering SEO, the only tags (before your <body> tag) that really matters (at this time) is:

<title>What goes here</title>

Everything else is optional, recommended but not required.

I was having similar problems until I removed all other meta-tags from the page.
