I don't know why they don't just ignore clicks, nobody knows! Many people are perplexed by it.

We can assume though... They may infact be "ignoring" your clicks after all but they are not coming out and stating it as fact, all the time insisting that your own clicks are grounds for termination.

Well, at least they (google) have the regular webmaster worried about NOT clicking on her own ads that she is quite unlikely to spend any effort in figuring out ways to game the system?

They're messing with your head I tell you...

Imagine an unfriendly person coming to your site and continiously clicking on your ads. A flood of clicks from the same IP everyday. How can Google know if this isn't you clicking from someone else's computer? I know some people kicked out of adsense for absolutely no reason. Perhaps the reason was something like this.

Google can ignore the clicks from your IP or click floods from the same IP, but prefers terminating your account instead.I don't know why.

Re: AdSense, now you can click them on your site

A bit late reply...
I think google disables accounts that get clicks from some location not just from same IP.
I got my acc disabled, got that email "invalid clicks, bla bla"
I rem well I clicked on an ad only once coz the ad seems interesting.. after a week or wo got that google mail, well I ddn't really worry.
But I think that most visitors to my website were from my country (all IP from same location) I think this is what google considers invalid clicks!
