Heres a challenge,

I am running Windows XP Pro on a P3 750MHz IBM Thinkpad.
So I successfully installed the Windows Critical Update (KB835732).
After rebooting, I ran Windows Update again and it said I still needed to install Windows Critical Update (KB835732) AGAIN! After installing this over and over again, still no fix. I even tried downloadling it and installing it in Safe Mode.
No luck. WTF? I am stumped!
I am also running Norton Antivirus with the updated definitions. No viruses found. I also couldn't find any suspicious programs in the HijackThis log.

Any suggestions???

hi i have contacted the microsoft people im using the same version xp as u do,im waiting for them to send me the real file that can fix the problem,they have sent me one already didnt work on my pc though, i will write you again as soon as i have it fixed or else throw an email to me and ill send the fix straight to you when ill recieve it...
