Retrieve/Send WAN IP through SMTP

First, I have code to send mail through an SMTP but it does not have the ability to enter username and password. I was wondering how to add that. I have already made so my Crestron CP2E sends the wan IP everytime it changes. But that is with Crestron's proprietary programming software. I am new to C++ and was wondering if you could all help me port it to visual c++
