i am trying to pass data from one computer to another through rs232 interface.and i am able to do that but i need to program in such a way that if i give a<ernter> from one computer (to another)another computer has to reply back immediately .and again if i give b<enter> it has to perform the same way as before without any waiting.......ie without need to press a buton for the next time..........how to i do this is vc++..................please help.........................persently i am doing in this way.....
after i give the data from comp1 i press recieve button frm com2.....
simlarly each time i give a data from comp1 i press revieve button on comp2...
now i need to get rid of this recieve button please help me...........
please help me do this its urgent.

Send a special character (or sequence of characters) to the other computer that tells it to it's time to reply.
